I'd like to own a time machine... even if I could only make one trip with it. I'd like to go back in time and find that man who first said the chinese "blessing", 'May you live in interesting times'...
And beat him to death.
The Pin-up, joke, comic strip, and funny photo are all pretty good this week. The article was sent to me by former staff member and lon-time friend Jerico Darkwynd and is definatly worth a gander.

Reverend Fred Phelps... biggest muthafucker on the planet.
This is a man who runs an organization called, and I do not kid you, God Hates Fags... He's the "minister" of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka Kansas, and has the websites godhatesfags.com and godhatesamerica.com.
Why would I bring him up? Because he's gone to far this time, even for an even tempered person like me.
He has brainwashed his children into the same hatred he believes, and they in turn have indoctrinated there children to it (nothing more sad than hearing a 7 year old say "fags are an abomination against God and are gonna burn in hell"). They go around the country protesting ANYTHING they can that has to do with any kind of homosexual rights, even to the point of protesting the funeral of Matthew Shepard, the Texas man whose death came about as part of a hate crime.
But now, Fred and the family have gone too far. Last week they protested the Funeral of a U.S. Marine who died in Iraq. Why? Because, in their words, if he had truly feared God, he would have run and not fought in this war. Not because the Iraqi war itself is wrong, but because the USA is a perverted nation that deserves to be destroyed.
Don't get me wrong... I have no love for President Geedubbya, and I feel the Iraq situation is being ran very poorly...
BUT...
No matter how bad I think things are being run, I would never hurt the family of a noble warrior by STANDING OUTSIDE THE CHURCH AND SAYING HOW EVIL HE WAS DURING HIS FUNERAL!!!! You at LEAST give the family the peace to say goodbye, not stand outside and insult the fallen and the family for standing up for him. And to add insult to injury, they have added to their website pages "Thank God for the London Bombings".
I know, I can be stubborn and bullheaded... But please, if there is ANY God in ANY heaven, please shove this man under a bus...
